St.Catharines, Ontario
How did you discover your talent?
My dads best friend growing up was a lacrosse coach and had come up to me at a ball hockey game I had, gave me a stick and asked if I’d like to tryout for his team (8 years old)
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An NHL hockey player as I was in hockey from a young age
Who was your biggest inspiration?
Ray Emery, Mike Grier and George’s Laraque
What’s the intrinsic driver or motivation?
To be the best at my position. If I’m not putting in work or giving back to the lacrosse community I feel I can’t be the best.
So far, what has been your favourite highlight of your career? An achievement? A specific moment?
Being drafted to the NLL as one of the youngest players to be drafted.
In regards to your career, where do you want to be in 5 or 10 years?
I want to be an NLL (national lacrosse league) champion more than once, a PLL (premier lacrosse league) champion more than once. I'd like to be a better version of myself in all areas (maturity, mentally, physically, & financially)
In terms of healthy habits, what are your thoughts on the current beverage options out there? (I.e. Energy Drinks, high sugar drinks etc)
I won’t lie I have a small red bull before my lacrosse games, probably more of a superstition thing for me rather than an energy thing!
How does Wize fit into your current lifestyle? And why do you choose Wize?
I like that it’s calculated to help the wealth of a human, that goes a long way for an athlete! I choose Wize because this is something I will support for athletes like myself and it’s what we need instead of your regular energy drink crammed with not the greatest substances.
